The label designs for Rusty Rail beers were inspired by the look of American "Old School" or traditional style tattoo flash sheets. The designs were drawn by hand, scanned, touched up and colored with the aid of a Wacom tablet.
Trail's End Pale Ale shows an interpretation of the brewery located at a circa 1911 factory in Mifflinburg, PA. The building is located at the western terminus of the Buffalo Valley Rail Trail, providing the naming inspiration for this Citra Hopped pale ale.
The designs were used to create clothing and other apparel to promote the brand.
